Worst Thanksgiving Ever

I am truly thankful for all the reviews, with helpful feedback and ones just to tell me they can’t wait for the next chapter. You  will be amazed at how much they help on tough days.

Yesterday was a tough day. I was an hour into my drive to my parent’s house when my mother called. She told me to turn around and go home. My daughter was there, and did not want me around her. The reason is the same as it has been for the last three years, that I refused to give her $300. So I turned around and drove back home.

Dysfunctional families truly suck.

And why would I not give my own daughter $300? Because she had treated me in an escalating series of throwing things, stealing, lying, and then malicious and vindictive head games. I wouldn’t give anyone anything that treated me like that.

This may affect the story and my writing output. If Mrs. Bennet gets incredibly nasty, you’ll know.

  1. I’m just now getting around to reading the continuation. Yes, dysfunctional families really do suck! I have a similar problem myself, a seven siblings right now only one will talk to me. I discovered that my mother has been passing along lies about how I treat her, when she was actually living with me! After finding that out, I begin to realize how often she has lied about a lot of things. I had to ask her to leave, this is the third time she has come back to live with me in the last 10 years. My sister also has a daughter that treats her very badly, on some days she wants to talk to her mom, another days she just wants to treat her badly and talk to her awfully. So please know that you are loved, unfortunately some people have a very strange idea of what love really is! Hang in there!
